Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch Review

Amazing picture, contrast level fantastic. Upscaling of non HD pictures really good. Neg is dark segments loose detail, hard to see. Read about Samsung UN55B8000 in professional reviews. Is a little bothersome. All in all, Samsung UN55B8000 set is a fantastic value. 240HZ motion flow at times creates near 3d effects. Samsung UN55B8000 is bad resulting in an unnatural picture. In older content, 240hz can create a very odd, almost old soap opera find of old video look. Very odd. Simple solution is to just turn off 240 hz. Picture then is fine.

Samsung UN55B8000 Review - Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV

Samsung UN55B8000 Series features Samsung's new Internet@TV online content service. Developed with Yahoo!, Internet@TV uses either a wired or wireless Ethernet connection to access content onscreen from Yahoo!, Flickr, YouTube and more with the push of a button. The widget-based interface and scrollbar run along the bottom of the screen for easy browsing of the latest programs and content. And Samsung UN55B8000 HDTV is accented by Samsung's TOC (Touch of Color), which offers a hint of a translucent color around the edges of the unit for a uniquely fashionable look.

Samsung UN55B8000 Review - Samsung UN55B8000 55-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV

Of course, the most amazing thing about Samsung UN55B8000 set and what intially lured me to Samsung UN55B8000 is its picture quality. Samsung UN55B8000 is difficult to explain the level of detail it produces. I have HD cable programming (1080i), which looks fantastic. Games on the Xbox 360 pops out at you. But the images produced from a Blu-ray source is absolutely breath-taking. I was also pleasantly surprised at how bright the display looks in my sunlit family room. I thought I would have to adjust the brightness to view the set in daylight and again when watching at night as I did with our old Sony TV. Although the screen on the UN55B8000 has a gloss finish, it does a great job of reducing glare and reflections.

I am extremely pleased with Samsung UN55B8000 television and would recommend it to anyone.

Samsung LN46B650 Review - Samsung LN46B650 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LCD HDTV with Red Touch of Color

Samsung LN46B650 TV also has a fair amount of material stored in its internal memory, and Samsung also includes a Flashdrive where you can edit your personal computer. Pressing the button closes the remote content on whatever your vision and offers a photo gallery that has pictures of art in the form of slide show (accompanied by music adjustable), some recipes (why? People want to read the recipes out their TV screen? Is anyone putting a 46 inch LCD HDTV in their kitchen? "I must say, though, the images of food seems good), games (have not tried this yet, do not know if I ever), children ( a bit 'of stories that seem to flash cartoons with subtitles for the children to read together), and welfare (a bunch of audio tracks and some kind pieces for piano). There are a total of 189 MB on Samsung LN46B650 TV aside for this content, you can download more via the Internet or via the load on Flashdrive or USB hard disk. Samsung LN46B650 it 'really nothing too exciting, I'm not going to use it. But, I will note that it is much easier to use and faster than Yahoo Widgets Internet.

Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U Review - Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Black

To get a great picture, we set the Backlight to maximum (+50) and adjusted some of the other settings to our personal preference. We also keep the Resolution+ setting at the maximum to give us a clear and defined image. This feature actually works and we are very impressed with Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U for watching standard definition analog cable channels. There are lots of available adjustments on Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U TV to keep you busy for a long time or you can just select the default, factory setting.

When Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U is turned off, the screen is dark black. Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U is a good indication that the TV is able to reproduce deep black colours. On some other TVs, when the set is turned off, the screen looks kind of charcoal, or dark gray, instead of black. Also, the Toshiba's screen is not totally matte, so off-angle viewing is quite good (but not nearly as good as plasma TVs). (The high-gloss LCD TVs have superior off-angle viewing properties, but at the cost of bad daytime reflections.)

Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U Review - Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U 40-Inch 1080p 120Hz LCD HDTV, Black

Toshiba REGZA 40XV645U is a great TV! All of us in the family really like it. Even the piano black narrow frame around the screen looks great (about 1.5" wide at the top and sides and 3" at the bottom). Even though the frame is a glossy black finish, it surprisingly doesn't disturb the daytime viewing experience at all.

We wanted a second TV in our home for a brightly lit room and we were also limited to a 40-inch screen size because of available space, so we ended up choosing the Toshiba Regza 40XV645U LCD TV.

Panasonic VIERA X1 Review - Panasonic VIERA X1 Series TC-L26X1 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

My only complaint so far is that the sleeper timer does not have a dedicated button on the remote. You have to go into 2 different menu screens to get to it. My way around that was to set each of the 5 timers the Panasonic VIERA X1 SeriesTV has so that each one goes off at 11pm Sunday night through Thursday night. Panasonic VIERA X1 Series obviously is not an issue if you are using it somewhere other than a bedroom. Read more reviews

Samsung UN46B8500 Review - Samsung UN46B8500 46-Inch 1080p 240 Hz LED HDTV

I assume that these problems exist with all Samsung UN46B8500 TVs with the Media 2.0 feature. Perhaps these problems will be fixed in a future software update (I have the 11/09 version). If so, I'll post an update. But I would have preferred a (cheaper) TV that didn't have any of these features to a (more expensive) Samsung UN46B8500 that provided these features poorly. I'll probably end up getting a Popcorn Hour or similar device for these features, rather than using the features built into the TV. Read more reviews

Samsung LN26B360 Review - Samsung LN26B360 26-Inch 720p LCD HDTV

I have had Samsung LN26B360 tv for 3 weeks and its been awesome. The colors are vivid, the sound is crisp and the use of the new style remote is simplistic. I have it hooked up to DirecTV and notice no blurry or pixelation on sports programming whatsoever. I would disgreard knee jerk negative reviews of this product. Samsung LN26B360 is my 3rd Samsung and have not had one bad experience yet. Read more reviews

Samsung UN55B7000 Review - Samsung UN55B7000 55-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

I think Samsung UN55B7000 TV is feature rich with a few let downs that could be corrected with a bit of ingenuity (hopefully made possible in the way of firmware upgrades, putting the LAN feature to good use). I would not personally recommend this TV to any of may friends because I would not want to hear them complain, but I would tell them to come over, play with it and decide for themselves if it is the right choice for them. Knowing what I know now it would be hard to say if I would upgrade again from what I had previously (LG 50px4dr) to Samsung UN55B7000 TV, but I can truthfully say that the picture quality on most devices (cable, xbox 360 and others (NOT PLAYSTATION 3, I get a weird snowy pixelated effect on the home screen that drives me crazy and was the reason I bought a new TV in the first place)) is vastly superior to most other televisions that I have seen. The bottom line is that you need to play with this television for a bit before you purchase.Read more reviews

Toshiba 15LV505 Review - Toshiba 15LV505 15.6-Inch Widescreen LCD TV with Built-in DVD Player (Black)

If you are looking for a very small LCD TV, Toshiba 15LV505 is a nice product. If you have room for a 19", by all means I would go for the larger screen. Keep in mind that, even with the abundance of digital and high def signals out there today, many channels/programs will be broadcast in 4:3 format. Since Toshiba 15LV505 TV is a 16:9 profile screen, a 4:3 display will appear that much smaller on this 15.6" screen. If you are looking for a very small LCD TV.

Samsung UN46B7000 Review - Samsung UN46B7000 46-Inch 1080p 120 Hz LED HDTV

My invitation to a TV is simple: connect the cable box and it works, then work on the sporting event of the day, for example, Mets and Yankees, Jets and Giants etc. Samsung 46 inch LED TV, very good. Connects, it works.

Television has more with less. Weighs only 40 pounds plus 10 other books are available for the file. Compare this with the model 950, the same size between the ages of Samsung, weighs 70 pounds. An elegant allows rotation easy. The TV is just over an inch thick! Energy consumption was measured by commentators about 105 watts. The model 950 is 180 watts.

The picture is great. The contrast ratio measured at 3000000-1, superior to the old LCD TV. Black areas are dark and the image has an almost 3D quality. There are four preset picture options. I opted for the "normal" setting. To the next higher "default", makes the infield grass look, colors almost glow days. I do not think it necessary to have made a further adjustment for the photo. However, there is a darkening of the brightness in dark scenes automatically. For example, if the claims will be run from a movie on a black background, the writing dimmer. This has no effect on sport, but does not affect the scenes of the film noir.

The screen surface reflection is reduced but not completely ruled out. The glossy black frame and is also in a certain light. By turning the screen with the best angle to help.

The remote has four options for the variations in size. I use the 16:9 "" for the HD format or "major" non-HD, 4:3, making the video fill the screen. Loses something in the 4:3-image up and down, but the image quality is still good.

The sound also has four pre-defined selection. While the internal speakers are not too bad, I decided that my sound system for audio use. The TV has an audio output port, but the volume of the TV remote control only for differences in volume of internal speaker. The audio output is maintained at a constant level. I did, with the sound of my cable box directly to my audio system and control device with the wired remote. This works.

Although Samsung provides a version of the manual on a USB drive with the TV, I found it easy to download and print a PDF file of the manual from the Samsung support center. According to the printed manual is helpful. See my comment's web address technical support.

After a month I still really want this TV. It 'great for the sport. An added bonus is really reduced my electricity bill.
